Medal Mania

After a month-long games fest to celebrate the Rugby World Cup, the children at Learning Adventures Mangere East had their achievements recognised with a much anticipated medal ceremony.
Children participated in a host of sporting events throughout the month, as they built confidence, developed their fine and gross motor skills and learnt how to work as a team. Presentation of the medals drew much excitement and ensured everybody at the centre had something to smile about.
“We presented medals for participation, perseverance, persistence, contribution, team work, fairness, giving things a go, and having fun,” says centre manager Virginia Eruera.
