Father's Day: Making DAD Necklaces

In celebration of Father’s Day, we talked about what it is and what we were going to do. Tamariki shared their own thoughts: ‘Making a chocolate cake with my mum!’, ‘I’ll give him something… a present', ‘Giving a hug’, and ‘Making something!”. Then we all discussed what to do together and decided to make DAD necklaces ;) Tamariki had a lot of fun while learning how to use glue guns! They struggled in the beginning, but managed to glue popsicles sticks with a bit of encouragement and support.
