Clean Up New Zealand Week with Little Wonders Oamaru

Today the children of Tapawha and Tapatoru from Little Wonders Oamaru took part in a walk around our community. It was in support of this years GJ Gardner Homes Clean Up New Zealand Week. This activity taught our children about the importance of caring for the land -Manaaki whenua. The children worked hard finding litter on the footpath and fence line. We were lucky enough to come across a rubbish truck right at the end of our walk and the men invited us to have our 4 rubbish bags of litter that we collected, disposed of in the truck.
