Chinese New Year at Little Wonders Cromwell

Last week, Little Wonders Cromwell celebrated Chinese New Year. Started the day off during mat time with a Chinese Creation legend with the Giant Pangu. It was great to share another world view on how Earth was created. We talked about how the Māori culture views this, and it was great to make a comparison this morning.

Of course, it was all about the bikes this morning: zooming around, putting streamers on, and creating dog and dragon masks to put on the front of the bikes. In the afternoon the children decorated their own animal masks. We sent home some awesome dogs, cows, horses, pigs and cats!
