A Happy Mother's Day <3

This is our preparations for mothers day. The children worked hard to make their cards for their mums, and made bath bombs for them for their present. They also spent a couple of days making heart shaped, chocolate dipped shortbread cookies for our mother’s day afternoon tea. They made scones for the afternoon tea too so had a very busy week prepping!

On Friday we invited our mums, grandmas and aunties to join us for afternoon tea. We made scones and chocolate dipped shortbread for them, as well as other yummy food supplied by our cook Ruth! We had a special mat time with our family and friends before we ate. After eating we had balloons and music and gave our presents and cards to our mums as we left the centre with them.

Lollipops Auckland Central was awash with colour as staff, children and families celebrated Diwali, the much-loved festival of lights.
