Frequently Asked Immigration and Visa Questions
Does Evolve hold Accredited Employer Status?
Yes! Evolve Education is an Accredited Employer with NZ Immigration.
What are the eligible roles under your Accredited Employer status?
We support certificated ECE teachers for full-time roles (30+ hours per week) that meet the Full Pay Parity (FPP) wage threshold. A qualified ECE teacher is a Green List 2 role, requiring NZ Teaching Council registration. (please note: this is subject to change, and you should always consult with NZ Immigration directly, for correct and up to date information on the visa type you are seeking)
Understanding Full Pay Parity (FPP)
The FPP scheme ensures fair pay for certificated teachers, reflecting their impact on tamariki, whānau, and early childhood education. To be eligible under our Accredited Employer status, your FPP step must meet the required wage threshold for the role type.

Does Evolve support people relocating to New Zealand?
This varies by centre—some can accommodate visa processing and relocation timelines, while others may need to fill roles immediately.
How important is knowledge in the Te Whāriki framework?
Newly registered teachers (including international applicants) will develop their understanding of Te Whāriki over time. Centres differ in their ability to provide support, so this is assessed case by case.
Are you accredited to direct hire from the Philippines?
Unfortunately, we are not accredited to hire from the Philippines. However, if you are already in New Zealand, we would be happy to review your application on a case-by-case basis.
