Meet our Centre Manager

Kia ora

My name is Stacey King and I have been teaching in ECE since 2007. Prior to that I have many years' experience in nannying, both in New Zealand and in London. Prior to moving to Lollipops Aubrey St, I was a Head Teacher for 7 years.

I believe that relationships are the key to everything we do in Early Childhood – nothing else can happen without the foundation of a strong working relationship with both the child and their whānau. Please feel free to pop into my office (or find me in any of the rooms) with any questions, or even just for a chat!!

In my spare time I love to hang out with my partner and our son. I also enjoying getting stuck into our garden and on cold winter days sitting in front of the fire with a good book.

At Lollipops Aubrey Street, we focus on nurturing each child’s developmental journey through thoughtfully designed spaces, dedicated teaching teams, and a strong sense of whānau. Our approach ensures every age group receives the care, learning, and support they need to thrive.

Our centre is purpose-built with three large outdoor learning spaces, mature trees, and plenty of natural elements. Indoors, each room is beautifully resourced to support calm, creative, and engaging learning experiences.

Centre life is full of meaningful routines, local outings, and seasonal celebrations. Children are grouped by age: Infants, Juniors, and Preschool, with flexible transitions to suit each child. Our tamariki enjoy stories, creative arts, outdoor play, and building social skills every day.
