About Little Wonders Glendowie

At Little Wonders Glendowie, we focus on love (aroha), respect, and independence values that guide us in helping children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Inspired by Te Whāriki, our approach celebrates each child's unique potential in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

Our centre features spacious, purpose-built indoor and outdoor areas, including sheltered play spaces for all weather, a vibrant vegetable garden, and a wide range of equipment to support motor skill development. We provide delicious, nutritious meals throughout the day and offer flexible hours to support modern family life.

Children are grouped by age to support their development, with engaging activities tailored to their interests and learning stages. From sensory play for babies to creative exploration and school-readiness programmes for preschoolers, we support every stage of growth with care and purpose.

Our Rooms

Our centre is full of light, laughter, and learning. Children enjoy open spaces, creative play areas, and a calm, supportive atmosphere designed to inspire exploration and confidence.

0–2.5 years

Tui Room

Our Tui Room offers a nurturing and sensory-rich space for our youngest learners. With caring teachers and areas for quiet play, messy fun, and exploration, infants and toddlers build strong emotional bonds and grow through hands-on experiences, even on rainy days, thanks to our covered outdoor area.

2-6 years

Kiwi Room

The Kiwi Room is a vibrant, creative space where preschoolers explore, build friendships, and prepare for school. From tending to our veggie garden to enjoying messy play in the large atelier, children are encouraged to follow their interests. Daily routines include a dedicated school readiness programme for our 4-year-olds.
