Meet our Centre Manager

Kia ora

My name is Hazara. I have been part of the Little Earth Montessori whānau since 2022, and in 2025 I stepped into the role of Centre Manager. I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (NZ), a Diploma in the Montessori Method of Education, and I am currently completing my Master of Education, specialising in leadership, at Auckland University of Technology.

A passionate Montessorian at heart, I deeply believe that Montessori nurtures each child’s independence, confidence, and overall sense of well-being. What I love most about Little Earth Montessori is its calm, caring, and beautifully connected environment, a place where tamariki are supported to grow into joyful, capable, and lifelong learners.

It is a privilege to lead a centre where the spirit of Montessori truly lives in our daily practice and in the hearts of our children, teachers, and whānau.

At Little Earth Montessori Panmure, we focus on Montessori education, encouraging independence, exploration, and respect for our world. Our unique curriculum empowers children to learn at their own pace, while our commitment to sustainability and multicultural values helps them develop a strong sense of responsibility and inclusivity.

Our centre offers a thoughtfully prepared environment with age-appropriate materials, both indoors and outdoors, to support children's learning. We incorporate eco-friendly practices and nature-based learning in everyday activities, helping children connect with the world around them.

Centre life is full of exciting activities that reflect our diverse community. We cater to children of different age groups—2 to 3-year-olds in the Kowhai Room and 3 1/2 to 5-year-olds in the Pohutukawa Room. Each group engages in tailored activities that support their growth and development.

Our Rooms

At Little Earth Montessori Panmure, our classrooms and outdoor areas are carefully designed to encourage free play, exploration, and learning. Children thrive in our inviting environment, which fosters curiosity and creativity at every turn.

2-3 years

Kowhai Room

The Kowhai Room is a warm, welcoming space where younger children are encouraged to explore at their own pace. With Montessori materials and age-appropriate resources, children engage in practical life activities, hand eye co-ordination activities, sensory play, early numeracy, and literacy activities while developing their independence and social skills.

3–5 years

Pohutukawa Room

In the Pohutukawa Room, we support older preschoolers as they prepare for the transition to primary school, both academically and socially. Our Montessori-inspired environment encourages children to become confident, capable learners through a careful balance of structure and freedom. We believe learning happens everywhere—including outside.
